Why the top employment sites need 'modified' resumes

There are many people who are curious to know the degree to which they can 'manipulate' their resume, so to speak, to ensure that the top employment sites get them their desired jobs without having too much trouble. This way, candidates basically hope that the leading companies in their domain search for them, and not the other way around. However, this is easier said than done, since there are many who seem to have discovered the value of a good resume.

Coming back to the main topic, resume manipulation might seem like an unethical thing to do, but in the current times, it's very important to 'show-off' your skills and the kind of responsibilities you are used to handling. Of course, this does not mean that you fictitiously give the impression of being an acting CEO while being a senior manager, it is somehow essential to highlight your present duties by just playing around with words. This is essential because when companies interested in recruiting candidates check out the top employment sites, they always check the resume before calling the person for interview. However, you must only include things in your resume that you can actually prove. For instance, if you have stated that your job includes interacting with external clients, you must be able to demonstrate that skill should be called for a demo of the same. So, it is essential to be prepared regarding whichever questions that can be thrown on you at the time of the interview.
